All fixed now – thanks again!
Hi all – am looking into this again – there is no reason it should have failed to renew the certificate and is being a pain to force it to do so. I’ll have it fixed soon though I’m sure – thanks for the heads up!
Just a follow up….
it seems you had demoted yourself to just a member which means you could not edit your pod tally!
I have promoted you back to Admin so you should be able to edit the tally!
Hi Jayne, I have just emailed you a couple of emails…
Hi Ann, email sent! Please read and reply there too let us know if it is now fixed.
Hi gemcat, I’m admin and replied on your other forum post.
I see you have emailed us, we’ll carry on the conversation there.
On the note of closing your account and for the sake of the conversation on this thread – of course we can help you close your account and delete all information held about you. This is under GDPR rules which we obey for your ‘Right to be forgotten’
However we do keep back-ups of the site (in case of serious issues with the server) so these back ups are kept (securely) for up to 90 days, however whilst these back ups are kept they are not publicly accessible.Hi Gemcat
Ordering 100 labels within the UK results in a £1.29 postage added at the checkout stage, not £3
This is less than the £1.32 large letter price for 250g 2nd Class usually paid, and currently we actually sell the labels at a loss once all payment processing fees are removed from the purchase!
Where about are you based to be getting £3 postage added at the cart?Hi Jan,
There is a way to do this but yes, it’s not obvious.Firstly you need to invite the other user as a member. To do this it’s easier to make sure they’re signed up to the site first, just with a user account.
Then once you know their email address you can recruit them
When viewing your pod click the ‘Recruit People’ button. If you don’t see this button click ‘Edit Pod Details’ and make sure ‘Recruiting?’ is ticked then SaveOnce you click Recruit People a box will appear to add by email.
Once you have they will be added to your pod instantly (because they are already a member of the site)Once they appear in the pod list click the little ‘Bod’ icon next to their user name and and it will promote them to admin
There’s no need to demote yourself to member, you can have many admins and may be advised to have an overlap period.
To remove yourself as admin simply click on the Bod icon next to your username. WARNING! As soon as you can’t reverse this action as you’ll no longer admin!
Otherwise just email us and we can help you do all of this ourselves!
Sorry about this Cathapple!
It hasn’t been fixed because it costs around £65 an hour to fix and is several hours work. This is the average hourly price of good reliable web devs. It did work for iOS devices but it caused them to crash safari browser so we had to detect them and turn the map off for now.
We are aware of how this affects potential connections made by by baggers, it is on our radar.
It’s not a ‘day and age’ issue, simply a priority of budget issue – we made sure the site functioned as a whole on mobile devices.
We simply have no funds to facilitate this now but are in the process of looking for more lottery funding which is how the current site was achieved in the first place. We’ll keep you all posted.Entries can be submitted until midnight 31st March. After that entries will be displayed for approximately 2 weeks on the same page for voting.
Anyone can vote on the entries – morsbaggers, general public – anyone! So at that point we encourage you (even if you have no entry) to ask all your friends to come vote, especially if you can post and tweet about it, although social media accounts are not required to vote, so if you want to ring or write to all your friends you can!
Voting instructions will be present on the page when it goes live on 1st April(to be fair – all entries will be revealed on that morning – meaning early entries do not gain any extra voting time! – That’s why they are not visible yet!)
Am loving the monthly news and breakdown can’t wait to see the next!
Thanks BeattieThe divider we tried to remove but the supplier insisted on having it so I changed it to the less obvious grey line for that specific reason so glad to hear it is doing the trick!
Hi all – so you have probably seen the new labels by now if not here is one!
They are back to the old shape, but retain the new styling. I’m hoping that even this balance will keep all camps happy!
Writing is bold, I don’t think they look cheap and we are back to long labels instead of square (sorry to all those that got used to and liked the square ones).
Luckily we managed to get these cheaper by way of ordering much more than we usually do, it has stretched us slightly but it means we have good stock and knocks the price down by 2p per label.
