I use a home made cone stand, a bit of dowel in a block of wood with an eye at the top to run the thread through.
Thank you for the info about moon threads offcuts. I had stopped using the moon cone because it was always breaking. Is there any way of telling the difference between the good ones and the bad ones.

Coastal Valley looks a lovely relaxing situation. Sad you weren’t allowed to put the morsbag label on the bag, it looked unfinished. Hopefully people will see the logo on Beattie’s t-shirt and find out about morsbags.
Like Offcuts, I hope Tanya and Andy get lots of new customers.

Hi Stefanie. All of the bags look lovely but I like No. 5, the one with the cats best.

If you are going to get a virus/bug, what better than a morsbag making one.

I have made a couple of bags out of pillowslips. As you say it feels a bit like cheating but why not, it is the same material as the duvet.

Thank you for the info wenznz, hope you all have a lovely time.
Yes beattie, Goddards does look a bit ritzy, but spending the time just sewing with all meals provided sounds wonderful.

    Hi wenznz
I haven’t heard of a retreat for sewing before, it sounds wonderful. How long do you hold it for, one day, one week?
    Happy bag making.

Glad your hand out went well. Giving people a bag as they go in is great, then them coming back for another bag, wonderful.

The band stand looks lovely with your bunting, and in such a prominent position for people to see you. Well done.

We have spotted a three in a bed episode on Thursday at 11.00am and 7.00pm on Home channel and it is coming from Newquay. Is this the programme we have all been waiting for?

At hand outs we often find that children choose a full size bag and the adults choose smaller bags.
