Oh Beattie! Wonderful news. Marvellous news. Superb news!
Oh yes Offcuts! I agree! What a splendid report Beattie. You did a good day’s work there. I can see that the corner position was much better than the first set up. The corner was more colourful – bunting always helps – and also I think would encourage beginners to have a go. The first position looked a bit “exposed” for a beginner. I don’t think I would have thought of that myself though. Experience counts! It must have been an exhausting day but well worth it.
I am hoping this response will take, so to speak. My last attempt disappeared while i was in the middle of typing it.Love it!
Hope the weather held and you had a really good day with lots and lots of interest. Was it windy? You might have had a job to hang on to the bags if the weather was similar to here. I happily pinned sheets on the line in the sunshine but the wind was intent on unpinning them. I am sure you two were well able to take the odd gale or two in your stride! Wouldn’t it be great if you had some students interested in making bags? Anyway, I trust it all went well and we get a full report (plus pictures!) when you have had a rest.
I am a bit late here – but welcome buttonhole!
Great bags. So far my favourites are March 12 and 14!
Lovely bags!
Oh Bless! I am now a mollified Ladybag! x
Don’t tell me I have done something wrong again? I added bags in February! I shall now go into a sulky decline.
Excellent news!
Absolutely! I love that post Beattie. I am still using the morsbag I got at the London Zoo bagging which started me off on morsbags. Your hearty bag is exceptionally smart. I have a Best Bag given to me by Offcuts and it is always admired when I have it with me. It is a good conversation opener.
On the strength of your post Beattie, I also looked Womble up on Google and it is certainly nothing like the definition Catherine was given. Perhaps it was all a joke. I am very pleased as I am fond of the Wombles. I like the string bag idea for something to do with the washed up string. I will try to do something clever and copy your link across to fb.
She is lovely. I agree with Graham – get one!
It was indeed very :-O!
How I love your cat pictures Offcuts! Thank you. My neighbour’s cat (Chloe) has decided she likes to come and sit on our bedroom window sill to watch the birds in the fir tree. One day I will get a photo as she looks very sweet draped in the net curtain. The problem is that I tend to forget she is there and go out leaving her shut in. Fortunately she is a very calm cat. George is in his wheelchair downstairs and Chloe sits and looks at him through the glass door of the sitting room and George looks back!
