Thank you all. I was thinking the same but thought I would check.
I didn’t know that Rosie had passed away. A lovely lady, please pass on my condolences to family and friends.Hi everyone
we are all well here at macs bags. Several of our ladies have been making scrubs, scrubs bags and gowns. We have also been making masks for those in the village who would like them.
As I said we are all well but we are very much looking forward to the time when we can get together again.
Although some of the restrictions are being lifted, stay safe everyone.I thought I would be making lots of bags whilst confined to the house but it hasn’t happened that way. Several of our members have been making scrubs bags, scrubs and gowns as well as masks. So as you can see we are keeping busy and will be back to making morsbags when we are able to hand them out.
I am planning to make morsbags during this time and add to our stock ready for handouts in the future. It will be a really useful way to spend our time.
Keep well everyone
Thank you Beattie that video was very useful.
Well done Bude Baggers, I hope you had a celebration on reaching this wonderful total.
Wow, no wonder more labels had to be ordered with 5202 bags from 115 pods adding to the total in just one month. A wonderful achievement.
We keep making bags and handing them out. I thought we had saturated our little village but no, only yesterday I gave a bag to a long standing resident who hadn’t heard of morsbags.
Glad you have a new stock of labels, Macs Bags will be reordering them soon.Hi Sue, a great project for you and your new sewing machine. With over a year to do it I am sure you will meet your target.
Best of luck to you and the farm.
Thank you for giving us an update on the total each month Beattie and what lovely names for some of the pods.
This sounds like a fun challenge. Only just picked it up and will pass it on to all of the Macs Bags members.
Yes, another great total for the month. Thank you for keeping us up to date Beattie.
I have only just found out about the Sewvember challenge, will tell the Macs Bags ladies and see what we can do.
Best wishes to everyone for a big boost in your total.Gosh! I hadn’t noticed the change to .org, but I do like the new labels. I have found they are easier to sew on and not being shinny, don’t slip about.
Thank you once again Beattie for collating the list of bag makers in March.
A wonderful list of active pods and a truly staggering number added to the total. The number of bags ours replaces is also staggering. I saw a lady in town yesterday with a morsbag made from fabric that I recognised we had used 2 years ago. I wonder how many plastic bags it had replaced in those 2 years.
Thank you for the total again Beattie. It is always lovely to see how many bags have been added to the total each month.
The idea of making bags whilst enjoying the country side is very appealing Better Bags. I hope you are enjoying better weather than we are here in UK.
Sitting in the warm and making morsbags on a cold snowy day like today is also very pleasant.A wonderful start to 2018.
I have just added to our total for Feb. some of which were made by our local Girl Guides at their meeting on Friday. They all made beautiful bags and were so full of enthusiasm that they also took home a second bag to make at home. We went to the meeting at the suggestion of one of the girls so word is spreading.
Regarding your comment loopychriss, it is very quiet. I don’t do FB so this is my only contact with other pods.
