Brilliant article whissybags.
My article has appeared in the March edition of our village newsletter… Let’s hope it generates some interest.
Thank you Beattie, I’m getting plenty of rest thanks to Mr Sazzie who has been amazing and my parents.
I couldn’t buzz around even if I wanted to as I get out of breath just. Walking up / down the stairs. I’m beginning to realise that the drs weren’t exaggerating when they said two months recovery :-/Thank you everyone for your get well wishes. I am now back home after being discharged this afternoon. I have been given two lots of antibiotics, and have to go back at the beginning of April for a chest X-ray. I have been told it could take up to two months until I feel back to ‘normal’ and in the meantime I’ve got to take things very easy.
I’m still short of breath and resemble a pin cushion, but it’s very nice to be home again…. And the Sewing Bee is on tonight so double bonus!One of the staff from Mr Sazzies school who was given a morsbag during the January handout called round today with two HUGE boxes of old duvets / curtains and fabric that she discovered when helping her parents clear out their loft – her mum was going to send it to the recycling centre thinking nobody would want it – good job she was there to intercept!
I’ve just emailed the editor of our village newsletter in the hope that he will include an article about morsbags in the March edition. Fingers crossed.
It’s brilliant, well done Offcuts. I love the way the next lady who was interviewed also mentioned morsbags
