I have only 4 left out of my 10!
And I want to say a massive thank you and well done to Joby for putting on this competition. I can only begin to guess at the amount of time it takes, additions to websites don’t come free, ours is the easy bit. Hopefully everyone is telling their family and friends, social media and the man next door to vote for their ‘favourite’!
Good luck everybody!
I am looking forward to seeing the entries too. I was on the radio yesterday talking about this comp. it is a bit biased towards Leicester so don’t take any notice of that and just vote for your fav entry and tell everyone else to vote!!
On Wednesday I am going on Bbc radio Leicester to promote the vote. Taking along my friend Julia from Bobbinsnbuttons pod. She will be talking about her entry. She has been tweeting for us.
Hi dmbags. We give away about 200 morsbags per week all to different places. One idea would be a foodbank. Nearly every church has a foodbank these days and they are all desperate for re-usable bags. You could just drop them off at your local Salvation Army saying they are for the foodbank.
Joby, some people have been saying that they don’t know if their entry has gone through ok.
I think that will happen after the closing date.
Good news!
Hi Dartfrog. Sorry to hear this. Joe said please could you
email them directly with a very descriptive response of exactly what it said, maybe a copy and paste of any text or even better any screen grabs.
Hi leeds bags. I have looked on the map on the home page and there are 4 pods in the Leeds area. You can search Leeds and they come up, then try to email them to see if they are still active. Alternatively we always need fabric for our community service pod but Leeds is 100 miles from Leicester!
For the mums having tea there!
I have just found out that we did take part! Lovely Offcuts morsbagger Ruth took 20 morsbags to her local cafe Doll’s Vintage Cafe. Well done Ruth!
I can only see one post! Well done Beattie. We are so busy at the moment at the morsroom that we couldn’t fit in anything else. We do hand out 200 bags every week tho’!
Yes Rags to Bags. It was lovely, her hubby came in to set labels and Butterfly showed him how to add her bags to her tally. She has now made 8 bags. Butterfly and I had a secret smile Because it was lovely to have another new pod. 🙂
