Thank you Sazzie 🙂
We are also doing a new thing with our Facebook followers. I asked if anyone fancied giving away some of our bags that we have in stock to their workplaces. We have had 3 responses; one lady is giving away 100 to her office – the local dept work and pensions. She is a friend of Butterfly who is sorting out the bags for her. We have just delivered 80 to an out-patients nurse and she will be bagging the nurses, doctors, cleaners, clerks and patients. And finally a lady who lives in the same area as Waley (and has met her) is collecting 30 from her for her work. I love how everyone is contributing.
We are getting on well with our plans in Leicestershire for the National Giveaway
I like the idea of ‘Bagging a Bobbie’ so will be taking bags round to the emergency services including police. fire and ambulance stations and the RSPCA
Butterfly is bagging her village with the help of her caterpillars and has put a message on Facebook to her friends to check they all have a morsbag which I think is a lovely idea.
We have a ‘home morsbagger’ in Offcuts and her husband is a volunteer at one of the local hospitals. They are taking in 100 bags for all the volunteers, 50 that she has made and 50 from Offcuts2, which I thought was great guerrilla bagging
I am also hoping to bag one of our local pubs.
Fleckney pod is bagging their street
Ooh I am still putting a morsbag in one letterbox per day in my area. I like to do it at twilight in my duffle coat with my hood up! 😀
Whats everyone else doing?! I’m getting excited!!

67 √I’m not really going up or down, just keeping a record of where I have been. If I miss twilight I do it the next day. Probably not practical to record them all on here! On a mac √ is alt and V I was pleased to find it!!
😀

56 √I can check them by touch now and still watch the tv!
No, don’t worry I am just storing them for future events until we move into our new morsroom; and they all need counting and quality checking! The trick is keeping them going out at roughly the same rate as they come in but having a good reserve for contingencies.
I have an idea for one ‘drop’ and I’ll see what the others come up with when we meet on tuesday. And off course every morsbag given away is equally important whether it is part of 1, 10, or 100

Lots of interesting nuggets about Cuckoobird as the new pod of the fortnight. I can add a few more. Frank and Barbara have hearts of gold. They will literally drop everything to come and help. Frank did an amazing job on the electrics at our Big Textile show at the end of september. We literally had 8 Brothers and one socket on the other side of our area and without Frank I don’t know what we would have done. In fact if Cuckoobird can’t fly our way in 2014, I shall have to get Ken, my electrician along. ‘Discussions’ between Barbara and I are legendary. We have had handlegate, kitgate and irongate but thats only because we are both passionate about morsbags. Way to go Cuckoobird!! ;-D
