We decorate plain bags with rubber stamps. We use a paint brush to apply standard acrylic paint to the stamp, then put it onto the bag. Let it dry then iron to set it using a dry iron. Works a treat and it will wash.

    It looks good. 🙂
I like the addition of ‘handmade, recycled, free!’
Macs Bags had better get busy making bags to use up our stock of old style labels.

The forum seems to have been a little quiet just lately, now we know why. We have been too busy making bags. A wonderful total for one month.

Wonderful. 160,000 bags out in the wild helping to save the world is great news.

Thank you Offcuts. We lost one of ours recently so it is good to see your lovely three. Like Beattie, one as a time is great to see.

Yes Teaboy is back. He had a great time looking at trains. Also handed out a few morsbags which will be well used. Eritrea is a poor country and everything is reused, they even have a recycling market.

I am in the process of tidying my sewing room so finishing a few UFO’s sounds like a good New Years resolution. Keeping all the bits for each project in it’s own morsbag is a good idea too.

Now that I have found my sewing machine I will just make a quick bag before getting diner ready.

My other half is our sponsor.(aka teaboy) He says he isn’t going to make any bags but by buying the labels he is doing his bit to help. When we have a bag making session here he also makes the tea (or coffee)

Sorry we can’t take part this time. However, Marden Arts and Crafts Society are holding their Craft Fayre on 1st November. Everyone who comes through the door (including stall holders) will receive a morsbags.
