Thank you offcuts. You know I consider you a genius already do you not?
The fringing pulled out quite easily Beattie and it is surprisingly satisfying to do.
The thing is, it didn’t fringe at all if I had the material the other way round, with the stripes going across. It was discovering that which made me think it would be alright to leave the edges unfinished so long as I did double rows of stitching. The edge where the handles fit in doesn’t fray at all so looks quite neat.Marvellous bags! Everyone will be fighting to get one of those.
Congratulations on getting back the kitchen table!Ha Beattie! You beat me by a whisker but you expressed it better than I would so glad you got it up first. Pol was excellent wasn’t she?
Love those. Brilliant!
Oh yes Beattie – the February Scandal! No, I know I haven’t added to the total. I keep forgetting to look before getting the computer. The bags are downstairs and the computer is upstairs and my brain finds it hard to grasp the enormity of remembering to look at the numbers before I come up. April will have a Knock Your Socks Off total!
Go for it Mad Old Crone! Looking forward to hearing your adventures
I made some – but I expect I forgot to update my pod!
Well done! Great to have you with us!
They are splendid!
What absolutely gorgeous bags! I always love your bitsa bags Beattie (lot of Bs there!).
All great but March 27th has moved up to be my favourite!
Great news about Bude Baggers. I follow Cathapple on fb too. I very much enjoy the beach combing stories.
Good for you Itsloopylisa! Splendid bags and you remembered where you had put your labels so could sew some on! Excellent start. Little labels both sides is a good idea. As Beattie said too, it was very well done to get the pictures up. Looking forward to hearing from you more and more……
Good to get this out on the news but it is so difficult to persuade people to care!
They are all gorgeous but I will go with the ducks as my favourite!
