Hi Emma
WElcome to MorsbaggingI hope you got your labels now – I sent them out at the end of April
Re pods in Ireland, if you look on the Home page, and click on Pods, you will see a map, showing locations of all the pods There are several in Ireland. Just click on each one for details
Happy baggingAnne Admin – label dispatcher
Hi Claire Bear
My hand crank is 104 years old – still going strong. As Bettie says, its great for al fresco/tent sewing (mine is in my Summer House now) and simple to use for complete beginners or children
Mine was the one I first learned to sew onI dont think I would bother with an overlocker. The double seems we do are so strong, and quick and easy, I dont think it would be worth your while
Ive never bought one, and to be honest, both of my Berninas have overlocking stitches anywayThese orders are now being chased. There is a label supplier in the States. Morsbags admin is making contact with her to ensure your orders are processed.
So sorry you have had to wait, and thank you for raising it here, as we keep an eye on all posts
Anne
UK label adminHi Hetty
I used to leave a heap of bags at my local farm shop. They used to keep a stash of used plastic bags near the check outs, so I would do a drop each time I shopped there. Eventually they started producing their own hessian bags, so I didn’t carry on with my drops. But you could do something like that, so they are not personally handed out. That is really great to hear Agwen. Morsbaggers have been putting a lot of their skills to really good use during the last four months.
Hi Whissybags
You are right, we should be supporting each other, there has been a lot of activity on the Facebook pages, many making bags for unifor, which has been brilliant. My colleagues told me that they are using theirs, that I gave out several months ago. I’m home working, but made some ear protectors for them, and have been making masksOn the plus side, we have now started to send out label orders, now that we can get to our local PO. It may be a slower service, but the PO have been amazing over the last few weeks
