well it’s nice for my pod to see this list – making morsbags is not competitive, so this and the pod table just adds interest. I think we have only about a maximum of up to about 8 people who make bags regularly, with occasional bags from others. We’re helped by having gained a really prolific bagmaker, and us regulars just keep going. I sometimes go amonth without making any, if we’re away so we just make when we can.

yes it’s because I don’t use a laptop – in this age of people using their phones and tablets instead of desktop or laptop computers it’s just a bit frustrating that this glitch hasn’t been fixed!

Thank you – quite a difference from when I plugged away as a lone bagmaker in rural north Devon, and couldn’t find a single person with any interest in morsbags! I think I’m lucky to have moved to a place that has such a string “green” ethos x

omg! this post made me go away and look this up cos I drink tea all day long – I didnt know this (why? why don’t people know this?!)

I buy products in bulk when they’re on super special offer, so have enough teabags in stock for about 6 months! But after that will have to get my tea pot down, buy a tea leaf holder thing and start using loose leaf tea – what a faff! Here’s the article I found:

thanks for inspiring us to make a themed set of bags – we’re now thinking about making more sets of bags on a them, for various local (ie in Bude) organisations. We really enjoyed taking part, it was great to have something different to the usual morsbags to think about xx

oh and also, can we do a communal entry ie 10 people each making 1 bag, or do all 10 have to be made by one person?

The competition page says make 10 bags on a theme, but then further down the page says take a photo of your 20 bags?! So is it 10 or 20 bags? someone just. posted this on my Bude Baggers facebook page, so I know I’ll be asked. which is the correct number!

wow, i love to see these lists. Meddon is no longer a micro pod – she’s got a group of Meddon residents together to make bags, I went and spent a morning with them, giving them a few tips, answering questions and so on to get them started. They’re only about 20 minutes or so from me, so we may get together for some events, or just communal bagmaking.

i’m so impressed – up to august 2014 i was a solitary bagmaker, i’d been making bags on and off since the start of morsbags in 2007, and had still only made 900! blooming life kept getting in the way! haha!

wowzer, just 2 people have been making about 1000 bags a year, every year for 11 years?! that’s extraordinary!
