ParticipantNice fabric and welcome to morsbag world!!

ParticipantI’m doing pretty well adding bags for the March total. Not only am I joining Pol in the bag a day challenge, I also have a fabulous new member to my pod. My lovely friend Louise has got the morsbag bug and has already made more than 20 bags.
butterfly bags
ParticipantI’ve been joining in too and have made a bag a day in March. Like Sazzie, I struggle with Flickr!
I’m not doing so well on the bag for each day of the year Beattie. I keep almost catching up but then have a few days off and fall behind again! I will keep trying!!
butterfly bags
ParticipantI’ve posted on our Facebook page about the amount of bags made in February. I have also included a link to the website. Xx
butterfly bags
ParticipantThat’s a fabulous total especially considering February is a short month!
butterfly bags
ParticipantI’m having trouble catching up but I will get there!! I’ve made 43 so far this year. Children have been off school for half term the past week. I wi get on track next week.

ParticipantI’ve just realised that Blue Moon’s birthday is the day before Tiernan Blue’s birthday (my youngest son). One more kitty would be lovely. As we kept saying about the children, there’s always room for 1 more!
butterfly bags
ParticipantI love seeing the numbers. Can I share some of your stats on our facebook page? I can just put a couple of bits of info and then tell people to look on here for more details.

ParticipantSuper duper bags Beattie. Xx
butterfly bags
ParticipantThat’s really good to see who has been making. Are you going to do it every month? I’ve got some to add for February soon.

ParticipantI’ve got a long way to go before I pass anyone else. I am pretty proud of being on page 2 of the chart.
I’ve made 26 bags so far this year so just a few more to go to hit this months target!
I made 3 bags yesterday that will be given away in our school assembly today. Dacey is a school road safety officer. They have had a competition to design a bag with the theme “a safe place to play”. We have a very talented mum at the school who is making the 3 winning designs into real bags and I made 3 morsbags (with fabric with pictures of children playing) for the the runners up (they will have a little prize inside the bag too).butterfly bags
ParticipantI’m working on it! Just adding my latest batch and it’s moving me up the pod chart above Wandsworth prison.
butterfly bags
ParticipantI like this challenge Beattie. How are you getting on?
I made a bag a day for 100 days last year and, although it was tricky some days, I managed it.
I don’t think I can commit to making a bag a day for a whole year but I am willing to take the challenge of making (at least) 365 morsbags this year. I’m a bit behind already but by the end of January, I will have made 31 bags.
I’ve made 18 so far this year so not too much catching up to do.
Up until recently, morsbags was practically the only sewing I did. I have now started being more adventurous but whenever I sit at my machine, I make a morsbag first as a little warm up!butterfly bags
ParticipantYay!! That’s a lot of morsbags!!!
