Did it! But it is a bit big. I come up as Ladybag rather than Krisaby. Should I sign in as Krisaby? I wonder whether to change my pod name to Krisaby as I am the only one?
I just tried to sign in as Krisably but am not allowed. Why do I always find everything so complicated? I want to stay as Krisaby because that is how I have been known before. The pod was Ladybag which I always thought confusing. But I do very much like this new website and as Beattie has pointed out – the resources are grand.
AND I have mixed questions onto the Christmas Themed Morsbags. Sorry.
December 10, 2013 at 8:40 pm #1316Krisaby, try signing in as Krisaby. I think it will work.
December 10, 2013 at 8:41 pm #1317Testing! Yes it works! Offcuts2 has a voice and a face(s) now This is Maddie who teaches the guys doing community payback and her lovely husband Mick who delivers all the morsbags to us at the morsroom every fortnight. 😀
December 10, 2013 at 8:52 pm #1320Hi Krisaby – as mentioned here this is why you are called ladybags…
https://morsbags.com/welcomeIt’s due to us moving to single sign on, so the log ins we had to take were from the pod names not user names.
Also as per here…..My user profile is my old pod site pod name – can I change it?
and here..Please let us know if you would like us to change you from ladybag to Krisaby – it is easy to do.
Also please note if you go to ‘my profile’ you can edit your display name to be whatever you like, this means you can have the nickname of Krisaby that everyone will see but still sign in as Ladybag – however may be easier just to tell us to change your username and we will!December 15, 2013 at 12:40 pm #1395I had to scroll through the previous posts to check I’m in the right place!!
Here is my offering. It was surprisingly difficult to photograph. I guess the terrible weather isn’t helping – not a gleam of sunshine for days!
I raked through my mother in law’s button box for some shiny and / or sparkly buttons and found one with “LEGION ETRANGER” on it.
My father in law was in the Navy and my mother in law had been a Wren during the war, but I don’t think there’s any connection to the French Foreign Legion……
December 15, 2013 at 12:56 pm #1396Beattie – that is the most beautiful morsbag I have ever seen. It is fabulous. I bet that is one you won’t part with.
December 15, 2013 at 3:17 pm #1397Beattie, that is absolutely stunning. My friend Ruth Singer would like it. She specialises in suffolk puffs. Do you mind if I post it on our Facebook page? :-O

December 15, 2013 at 4:11 pm #1399Of course you can post it on your Facebook page Offcuts 😀
I’d never made Suffolk puffs before. I discovered that you need to start with a MUCH bigger round of fabric than you think, they end up quite a bit less than half the original diameter. And they don’t work using upholstery fabric 😕 But the ones made of shiny gauzy fabric work really well as stand-ins for glass balls.December 15, 2013 at 6:54 pm #1400Ooh Beattie, that’s very Christmassy….
