Yes that will be the one Grumpy and I went to Beattie! Its funny how vegetarianism/veganism is still looked upon as strange! I’m with Krisaby on this one! Its about respect 🙂
We have eaten there and nearly bought a Barns-Graham print there. Lovely place to bag! I’m very envious!
£1000 is divided proportionally be weight Beattie. So my guess would £420, £320, £260 but I’ll let you know the official amount! Harborough Hitbags actually have free labels (Leicestershire labels are sponsored by the Lions)but they have printing costs, t-shirts, threads etc so it will come in very useful!

Annie reminds me of Tintin’s daughter Kate
I agree cathapple. I find that Facebook is a brilliant way to network and keep in touch with my friends and fellow morsbaggers whether it be JC in Illinois, Brenda in Mexico or Krisaby in Brentwood. At the end of the day I want to spread the morsbag message whether by the morsbag forum, or by talking to people, or by giving them a bag or by using social media.
Cathapple, I can post the pics if you want me to but understand if you don’t x
Congratulations Macs Bags! The teas look scrum my!!
Here you are Beattie
It has to be organised Beattie, but I did start early. We started preparing the royal kits in January! I always planned to have 100 royal kits for this event but only have 50! The events manager is more than happy with that and we are saying the first 50 people will have the chance to make a royal kit and after that they will have a lovely non-royal kit and that will be fine. Allowing for the republicans, 50 will probably be just right! We are so lucky to have such an amazing team and nothing is too much trouble for them.
The centre opened today and everyone is raving about it. Can’t wait to see it when Graham is on his leave.
Waytogo Cathapple! 🙂
Hi Cath, great photos on your fb page, looks like you have a few addicts already! I think the being able to like is because you are a closed group. Check out our fb page morsbags.com Leicestershire and morsbag’s general page morsbags sociable guerrilla bagging
I am very impressed that you have got a man so early on and he is cutting out!!
I think the fabric labels are a great idea. We have loads of info to get on ours and we encourage people to hang on to them for future reference. We did start with tags but I wanted our meetings, fabric drop off points, history of mbs etc on there. There are a surprising amount of people who still don’t use a computer. I think its a case of what works for your pod. I couldn’t see a pic of the fabric labels but thats probably me looking in the wrong place! 🙂
Yes we can’t wait Beattie! Mark and Kim are bringing Lili an Bo Jangles to help us introduce them to Blue Moon. Below is a photo of what I found earlier. Now Blue only has 2 of these orangey balls and we have no doubt that he would have set himself a challenge to get them both in this sculpture and left them for us to see! ! I have had lots of cats during my 56 years but never had one that sets himself tasks!
Here is kitten 3, 1 week old who we have called Kimcatz Pretty Peggie Sue to keep with the song theme! Also my mum was Peggy! We shall have her in the first week of october if all goes well.
Look forward to seeing you Agwen! ‘citing! x
What I noticed how people are helping each other. We always say once people have made one morsbag they can teach others and become part of the growth ethos. Its all good!
😀101! great news Elaine in building up your bags for December. I happen to know that morsbags are in the green token scheme this month. I shall pop in at the weekend to see how things are going and take a photo. It is so exciting to have Waitrose on board 🙂
