Well done Sazzie! I hope your patient is getting better.

January 17, 2014 at 10:36 pm in reply to: 35th International Morsbagging Weekend 18th/19th January? #1642Ivybags & I had a race at a show a couple of years ago & she just pipped me! I think she takes about 10 minutes starting with an ironed kit with a fold at the bottom. Super-speedy!!:D
I have some kits ready to sew – I’m going to spend some time sewing bags on both Saturday and Sunday, but not the whole day on either occasion.
I’m looking forward to seeing you on here tomorrow morning, ready to add our bags to the global tally and our running tally for the weekend on here.
Thanks for letting us know how it went Offcuts! They’re lovely photos π Well done, Bobbins’n’Buttons – you’ll find you give someone a bag and they give you enough fabric to make another 10!! Are you meeting again?
That was an interesting read Offcuts. I have to say, I’ve only just found it – am I the only one who finds the layout of the new website confusing? This is not the first time I’ve failed to find new posts. I hope this post bumps this thread up so more people find it.
Good place to bag people Sazzie – enjoy your evening! π

January 13, 2014 at 9:50 pm in reply to: 35th International Morsbagging Weekend 18th/19th January? #1608I like them all! π
January 13, 2014 at 9:25 am in reply to: 35th International Morsbagging Weekend 18th/19th January? #1596That’s a nice idea Butterfly! π How many houses in your village, do you think – or do you know?
January 12, 2014 at 1:26 pm in reply to: 35th International Morsbagging Weekend 18th/19th January? #1587That’s a nuisance, Sazzie! Maybe you can use the “fold & sew” method we use, as I hate ironing? At least irons are not expensive and are easy to come by.
Now that’s a GENIUS idea! β I like it – and it involves new people bagging others, great!! π
Thank you Pol and Joe, for our bag kits made from the NEW BATCH of recycled royal curtains! (I didn’t know that we’d been given more by the generous Prince of Wales – it’s nice to have different fabrics.) π We have a lucky recipient lined up for one of the special bags but will have to think who to give the other one to. Maybe an idea is gelling in my brain as I write….. hmmm..
Welcome Bobbins’n’Buttons! I noticed there was a new pod but had no information. Thanks for telling us about them Offcuts π I hope you have fun at the new pod meeting.
We asked Ivybags if she’d like to do a joint handout in a town somewhere between us, on the Devon/ Cornwall border but she’s working that week-end. Hope it’s not too busy for you, Ivybags, and that the weather is reasonable. Don’t fancy it if you have to schlepp up onto the moors in snow…..
We’re still considering all options, but I fancy some traditional guerilla-ing in a nearby town we haven’t visited before. I have a location in mind π
