KeymasterMaybe we’ll retreat to the BBQ lodge if the weather’s nasty, but I hope it will be fine. The tent looks like the one we had at the Clarence House garden party – very swish!! 😀

KeymasterPoint taken, Krisaby and Offcuts. 😀
Great story and lovely photo, Ivybags. Did you take it, as you’re not in it? Are they the bags hanging up at the back – they’re lovely & gorgeous fabrics.
Well done, getting so many made in a day 😀

KeymasterWell that will come in jolly handy!! 😀
I think I’m going to stick to shopping in a combination of local village shops, Tesco Extra, Morrisons and Lidl as they all have their strong points. I hate going into Truro and the new Waitrose is going to be on the outskirts of the other side of the town, so not at all convenient for where we live. Maybe we’ll go occasionally, when it opens. We called into Waitrose at Saltash when we were bagging at Cotehele a couple of years ago & stayed at the Travelodge opposite – it was a new experience to be called “Madam” and “Sir”! 😀

KeymasterThey have a vegetarian/ vegan cafe in the gallery, serves cuban coffee & highly regarded cakes. I wonder if I’d be asked to leave if I take out a ham sandwich I made earlier? 😉

KeymasterYou’ve had your hair cut Cathapple, but I guess it IS four years since we last saw you….
I should have guessed that Annie is the lady featured with her bag, under construction and proudly finished 😀

KeymasterWe don’t shop in Waitrose – the nearest one is about a 90 minute drive away, but I’ve seen similar “green token” collections in ASDA.
I just LOVE the Morsbagometer, and the lovely information with it (“beloved animals”… made me smile).
Harborough Hitbags would be able to buy lots and lots of labels with their winnings. 😀 Is the “pot” divided or does it all go to the first placed good cause?
Please keep us posted…. 🙂

KeymasterThank you Offcuts! Thanks Cathapple, I hope your dog is getting better quickly.
Which one is Annie? Lovely bags being made and modelled and it’s nice to see another man making bags too 😀“Go, go, Bude Baggers!” 😀

KeymasterThanks Offcuts. I tried the link though and couldn’t see anything except an invitation to log in….. 🙁

KeymasterOh. that’s lovely Agwen! Well done, all of Macs Bags, I hope you all had a fabulous tea party to celebrate your milestone! Doing some planning with everyone present is a great idea – now it’s on to the next thousand 😀
It looks like a lovely tea room too 😀beattie
KeymasterHi Cathapple! It’s great to hear that your pod in Bude is up and running – well done! 😀
I don’t DO facebook or I’d never get off my backside & do anything not on a computer, but I can’t find your page. I had a look for a link via Morsbags Leicester page and I hunted via google, but no luck. Please could you put up a link to it? And ensure that anyone can see it?
To post photos on here you need to use a photo sharing website, of which flickr is one. You may find you can post photos that are on your facebook page – I’ve certainly occasionally used random pics I just found on t’internet without putting them through flickr first.
Nice to hear that distribution through the farmers market is working out too! 😀

KeymasterBlue Moon is obviously extraordinarily intelligent. He’ll need projects, but being a cat, they’ll be HIS projects. 😉
My daughter’s cat’s project seems to be to rid the world of small mammals and birds, I hope Blue will have better ones.beattie
KeymasterI bet you’re looking forward to next weekend!! I’m waiting for more photos 😀

KeymasterSounds great! 😀

KeymasterWell done, you’re on the way to reaching your target in plenty of time for December!
I agree with Sazzie, morsbagging wins over gardening when the weather’s not nice. Sewing while it rains outside is particularly satisfying 😀beattie
KeymasterHello Waitrose Market Harborough! How nice of you to tell us about yourselves and your challenge 😀
93 bags is a great score so far – as you say, you’re well on your way to making the 320+ you need for your challenge. How many partners are doing the sewing? I’ve found that in a team there are different roles for different personalities. Some would rather sew, or cut out, or give away morsbags or talk about plastic bags and the harm they do.
Do you have a target date for your handout or will you decide that when almost all the bags are made?
I’m always impressed by the design of morsbags (pat on the back for Val Morsman). The design is so simple, economical, easy to sew and can be scaled up or down for different purposes and people.
I’m looking forward to hearing how you’re getting on.
