Well we now have an idea π‘ – just have to collect the material needed……
Looks like another great sew-in at Brock’s Hill! π Welcome New Sue! π
Hi Butterfly, sorry I’ve only just seen your post. Do you think we need a new thread or post? This one seems OK to me, but go ahead if you want to change anything.
(Thanks for the congratulations, by the way π )
PS, Cornwall celebrates St Piran’s Day on 5th March. My choir, Aggypella, will be singing outside the cinema in Redruth. Perhaps I can get there early and bag people, or maybe bag them after we perform…..
http://www.visitredruth.co.uk/World-Heritage-Tourist-Information/St_Pirans_Festival_1664.aspxI spotted the next handout’s date last night too, Butterfly, but had already logged out. I think the two weekends are great timing. π
On another topic, are you going to make 10 themed morsbags for the competition?
Sounds like a great way to spend your Saturday, Butterfly! I’m looking forward to seeing the photos. I loved hearing about the lady who went home and made another 10 morsbags – maybe a new recruit in the offing?
I agree, Offcuts, it’s ‘citing!
Thinking… what comes in batches/ lots / groups of ten…?Cathapple, there may have been the odd typo on the original page, when I looked it was clear that a set of 10 bags is what is required, and I read it that a pod could have a combined entry if they want. I hope that’s correct, I’m sure Pol will clarify if not.
What a fantastic pancake! I love the fruity pattern – outclasses my Shrove Tuesday efforts by a long way.
And I can’t help cooing over Beautiful Hattie and her super coach-built pram. I worked my way through two of those (both second hand when they reached me…)Sounds like a great mors-day out! π
Welwyn!? We used to live in Codicote, just up the road, Tarragon. Moved almost exactly 25 years ago, but I don’t suppose it’s changed all that much. Lovely area… π
What a lovely idea Verah – go for it, it’s a great way to get more morsbags out to new hands. π
Our wobbliness about dates is over, grandson newly delivered π so the last weekend in Feb should be OK for us to sew as well.
You’re welcome Offcuts! π
Those weekends are equally good for us, so far as we know (second grandchild due sometime soonish….)
You’re most welcome Krisaby. I hope that you start to feel better soon and that a cheerful time of life opens up for you.
They’re lovely bags arleia! I love the colourful ones with vivid flowers and parrots on. I had 2 king sized duvet covers with little pink sprigs like yours and they made very popular bags.
I had to take out a couple of extra characters in the address of your photo before it showed up on here. There was an extraneous “m” in front of “https” and a superfluous ” #/ ” in the middle. Don’t know why – perhaps to make it harder to copy and paste? Anyway, nice work, and it’s great to hear from you π
