Thank you for adding us Beattie, I imagine it is quite a task, but you are doing a great job and 10 days into September and already over 500 bags.

My pod made 41 bags in August, but we seem to have been missed from the list, I added them on the 10th August if that helps you find us.30 of them went to Pickering food bank who were delighted with them.

Pickering StitchersThanks for all the replies, when we all hand them out we tell people the story behind them and I tell people I have not had a plastic bag for over 4 years from any shop.
I can accept the shape being cheaper to produce, I just wish the font and colour were bolder as it is lost on a pattered bag. I am happy to pay whatever the cost as any hobby has a cost involved. We shall still make bags to give away it will be a case of is it a Morsbag or a homemade bag that is still very nice and useful, we will see when all the labels are finished.My pod do not like the new labels at all, they look pale and cheap, all 6 of us just said oh no they do not look as good. The old ones made the bag stand out and complemented it, we are sewing the new ones with 2 rows of stitches as I think they will fray in the wash. We may not buy anymore, we still have some of the old ones thank goodness, I will not carry a morsbag with the new label on.
So if I stop adding to my tally (1121) you will know why, its a shame but we feel very strongly about them.
