Yes we can visit him Krisaby. He is only 20 miles away in Northants. We are hoping to have a girl from a litter due on 24th March so we shall visit after that. He will be in the ‘nursery’ until he has had his first jab then he will go down to the rest of the house with all the other cats. British Longhairs have only just been recognised as a breed in this country, not that that matters to us. As you know we had 3 Persians for 15 years but the whole breed has changed and they now have a short life expectancy. British Shorthairs and Longhairs are a very strong healthy breed. Here is a photo of Blue Moon eating his first solid meal. Its amazing to be able to see photos of him growing up!

Thank you Sazzie! we are very lucky to have found Roger. We have a good time as well. After having to run the whole thing from my house it has made me appreciate Roger even more. πŸ™‚

And she will tell everyone! There are a lot of people who don’t get it but then really get it when they think about it.! Much more in fact than the people who just nod and agree.

I am sure it will be fine once she has thought about it. We did a christmas fair and there was a lady who came up to each of us saying ‘Its just not right!’ ‘Whats not right?’ I asked her. ‘That your bags are free!’ Unfortunately I got the giggles!

Hi JC, the simple answer is we are not allowed to take a financial donation that is directly linked to the bag. However it is fine to direct people to the donate button in the shop on this website. I also think thread or fabric is fine because that means you can make more morsbags. I wouldn’t encourage anyone to buy any though. Most people have a pair of old curtains that they don’t want anymore. Another good thing is to say “we just want you to use it instead of plastic bags. Or ‘we are raising awareness not raising funds’ Basically we want people to question, be surprised, and spread the word.

We now acquire hundreds of fabric pieces from Offcuts2 so we donate it to schools to use for their craft work along with 10 or so cream bags that can be decorated and 10 morsbags for the teachers. We even have a designated morsbagger Margaret who emails the local schools and delivers when she is passing. We are making special giant morsbags out of the thick furnishing fabrics that Dunelm gave us for these goodies and Margaret suggests they are used for any donated curtains etc. I think more schools will start making morsbags because of us doing this. πŸ™‚
