Still quiet on here, but I’ll post anyway. Been stuck indoors for 4 days now due to the snow. Not that I’m complaining, I love being at home and have made the most of it by making bags. I had a beach clean due this Sunday (I live in Herne Bay), and have been making re-usable rubbish bags out of thermal curtain linings. The idea being that we can put all our rubbish in them, and then empty them into litter bins or the (dreaded) plastic sacks that the group organiser has us put our findings in. Unfortunately the beach clean has been cancelled because of the snow so I’ll have to wait until next month to give them their first outing.
Hoping to get a few more made and reach my target of 2,000 bags in a couple of weeks!
Fantastic result isn’t it?! I think now with the plastic situation being taken seriously, more people might get involved and realise there isn’t a catch!
Just one thing, off topic….why is the forum so quiet now? At one time there were new messages hourly and we built up a good repartee with each other. The FB page just isn’t the same!
