Just wanted to draw it to everyone’s attention that Trusty bags have topped 50 000 and Offcuts have reached 10 000! I am writing a short history of Trusty Bags, but very busy at the moment. May and June are always crazy every year with all the village fetes etc. We have a couple of big jobs on at the moment. Leicester Animal Aid have been very generous with their left over curtains over the years and it is their 60th anniversary in June so we are putting 60 on 60 bags already made by Trusty bags. Not easy – 60 is very curly but my team can do it!!
I just wanted to say that our achievement is nothing to do with me. I have probably only made 1 bag in the last year! It is Team Leicester past and present that are to be congratulated.
My faithful cutter-outer Mary Scissorhands has made these gorgeous bags for her grandson’s 4th party. She has made 24 full sized morsbags for party bags. I just think that children should have full sized bags that will last them into adulthood. So it was Mary Scissorhands that took Offcuts over 10 000 and very fitting too because we couldn’t have done what we’ve done without the 8000 ish kits she has cut out listening to talking books! Thank you Mary Scissorhands!!
