Never mind Ivybags! There will be other opportunities. You can always decide when the 36th one is to be and make it fit in with your commitments.

I will try and make some bags over the weekend and will see if any other members of macs bags can join in. We had already arranged a bag making session for January 25th. A local shop has agreed to take some bags so I will get a stock there on Friday 24th ready to hand out on 25th.

Has anyone timed themselves making a bag? I’ve made a few today (had the kits all ready) and kept meaning to time how long the sewing takes. I either forget or get distracted by the children and have to stop.
I’ve got a pile of kits ready for the weekend. Tomorrow is pretty busy with children’s stuff but I will try and get some made in between dancing, shopping and a birthday party.

Yay! Lets have a race!! Are we starting from ironed kits? We could get someone else to time us! I’m excited!! (and not at all competitive!) 🙂

I think we used to think it was between Ivybags and Sazzie with Ivybags just pipping it but that was quite a few years ago.

Ivybags & I had a race at a show a couple of years ago & she just pipped me! I think she takes about 10 minutes starting with an ironed kit with a fold at the bottom. Super-speedy!!:D

I have some kits ready to sew – I’m going to spend some time sewing bags on both Saturday and Sunday, but not the whole day on either occasion.

I’m looking forward to seeing you on here tomorrow morning, ready to add our bags to the global tally and our running tally for the weekend on here.

It’s Saturday and I’ve made 3 bags so far (How I miss being able to increase the size of type, and change its colour!) 😕

Weather forecast is dire, but actual weather here is not bad at present.

    Bagwise I have made three so 3 + 3 = 6 made so far

    6 +3 = 9 total

I’ve managed 4 after lunch, we’re off to visit grandparents now so no more for me today, hopefully I’ll find time to cut some more out tonight ready for tomorrow

    14 + 4 = 18
