Our group meets occasionally for sewing projects - patchwork, quilting, Christmas decorations etc - individual or combined - for friendship and fellowship - whenever the mood takes us . Over the past year we've had a break but when we heard about Morsbags on BBC Women's Hour it seemed like a good idea and an excellent reason to get together and make inroads on our stash of fabric which has mostly been donated by local villagers. We now have 70 labels and the first bag has been made from a recycled curtain. It was given to the first admirer, who commented on its good size and of course promised to use it instead of plastic bags.
