About this pod

January 2025, happy first birthday to us! The group bagan between CAVCA (Coast & Vale Community Action) Waste Not Want Not Project & the Community Sowing Bee. Continued thanks to those gifting fabric saving it from Landfill to be used to make practical bags. We offer learning to sew/ / re-skill in a safe place, social interaction, time with friends with drinks & snacks including cake . We meet monthly. Hand stitching and machine sewing in action. We have Street Bees making bags at home too.
