About this pod

Our pod members are students in the Mt. Pleasant High School crafts program in San Jose, California, who want to help make a change in our environment and are beginning sewing enthusiasts. Since 2007, our classes have learned the process of how to sew and construct a morsbag. Since then, students have donated morsbags to the Mt. Pleasant community or kept their beloved first sewing project to share with friends and family. Additionally, students learn how single-use plastics harm the environment and how making small lifestyle changes can reduce their carbon footprint and make the world a better place. Most of the materials used for this project are donations from our Mt. Pleasant community. Our class would like to thank everyone who donated material to our cause.
