I’m new to all this – I’m Faire Des Sacs down in South Warwickshire and have been going since the new year. I’ve been digging around to find out what the ‘challenge’ tally is for on my pod page and see that it was for an event in 2017. Is Morsbags.com linked to an event for 2018? I would willingly make some challenge bags. Trish x
Hi Morsbag peeps, Trish here from a little hamlet in South Warwickshire. I’ve just set myself up as a solo podder (for now anyway!).
I read about Morsbags last year, made about 12 then didn’t get round to setting up a pod. Last Tuesday I got together with 4 pals and our sewing machines on a cold wintry night and we made a bag each. This prompted me to crack on with the admin so now I’m the proud founder of ‘Faire Des Sacs’ which will operate from Toulouse Cottage in South Warwickshire.
This week I have posted a bag to a friend in Cheshire and will hand over 2 more to dinner party guests this evening. We have our WI Community Coffee Mornings in this village on the first Saturday of the month so in Feb, I’ll grab a table and see how many folks I can ‘make their day with a Morsbag’
Making Morsbags to eradicate plastic ones is the best new year resolution you can make.
