A friendly married 50-something, with time on her hands, that wants to do something good and lasting in the world, in a fun and creative way. My enthusiasm far outweighs my abilities, but am willing to try - I like sewing, card-making and baking - not necessarily in that order, and truth be told looking at the aftermath of my efforts, it can be difficult to identify the end result!! They do say - "everyone loves a tryer" - well, that's me. Some would say I have a slightly warped sense of humour too - my motto is: a day without laughter, is a day wasted (Charlie Chaplin quote) - and I do like to laugh. I have a fabulous hubby (he has to be, to put up with me), one stoopid dog (a rottie), and an attention-seeking cat (a moggy). I feel loved and lucky.
