LOL! I’ve done that too!! π
Out of interest, I looked up when we reached the 100,000 bags milestone and it was on 18th October 2011.
https://morsbags.com/forum-archive/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=2704&hilit=100%2C000&start=60They hadn’t – and here’s the screen shot π
And here I am back again with 2 more bags – I wonder if anyone has added any in my absence?
Correction, after my bags had been added the updated total is 159,998, so we only need TWO bags to get to 160,000!!
I’m getting sewing RIGHT NOW !! π
This is just the season when knitted things are wanted, especially clothing, so you probably have the motivation to finish off those UF(K)O’s! π
AND you’ll release three more morsbags for the world.
Yay!! Got it!!
I right-clicked on the photo, selected “copy link address” and pasted it here, and bingo!!Lovely vintage fabrics and beautifully made bags π I’m sure the new owners will love them. I like the ducks in the daffs
Sarah, I think I found it, but can’t post the photo here. Is it set to “public” so that anyone can see it?
(I had another go, obviously…)

Congratulations Sarah! I’m so pleased you posted on the forum about your success! π I had a little look on Flickr but couldn’t see your photo, but I’m having connection speed problems, so can’t seem to sort for the most recent photos tonight.
We’ll miss you, but we know that sometimes life intervenes….
600 bags is a lovely round number! π Lots of love, Beattieπ Thanks Offcuts! We’d be perfectly satisfied with individual photos if getting all 3 into one is too difficult. In the one on the circle rug the two boys look a bit like a pushmepullyou!
You’ve inspired me, Cushion Lady! I don’t have a roomful of unfinished projects, but I have been having a “holiday” from sewing since October.
So my resolution is to make at least one morsbag a day. I’m already seven bags behind, but I reckon I can catch up and rattle off eight bags today. π
By the way, two of the sewing machines didn’t make it as far as the caravan before Christmas, and are holed up in the cupboard under the stairs. One of them is coming out for me to do my New Years resolution with. It joins M/C’s new project on the kitchen table. His Christmas present was the pieces of a 95 year old lathe – need I say more? π
Cat photos…. Cat photos…. cat…. photos……..
πJanuary 8, 2015 at 11:45 am in reply to: 200 morsbags used for festive food parcels in Loughborough #3465I’m pleased that all the volunteers got bags too! π Nice work, Team Leicester!!
That’s a great New Year’s Resolution, Cushion Lady! π How many bags have you managed to empty now? (Sorry I didn’t see your post earlier).
