At the risk of telling you something “everyone” knows…….
I met “CLOVER WONDER CLIPS” for the first time at the big textile show courtesy of an unknown bagger. You use them instead of pins, much easier and safer and the sewers seem to welcome them.
Bit pricey though, but should last as long as you keep them away from the floor/rubbish bin.
Look them up on ebay or your favorite shop
I second M/C’s praise for Wonderclips – they were really quick and easy to use to keep the handle ends in place, and there’s no danger of anyone pricking their finger with them. Great for beginners – marvellous invention!! (Pity they’re a bit expensive)
Oooh I just had a google and now I want some. Possibly because I enjoy gathering all the “bits” that go with sewing 😉
I have some of these…. Very useful and would make an excellent gift for a fellow sewer 🙂
Very good for when children are sewing too 🙂We love them! And they don’t get blunt like pins!
