Sometimes you have to be in the right place at the right time. Sue Lamont made 4 bags out of a skirt at the morsroom on tuesday and I managed to get one!

    Here is the front

And here is the back made using the skirt. It is strips of seersucker. We have a walking foot on one of our Brothers to use on shiny/thick/tricky fabrics and this came under the tricky category! I love the bag! 🙂

That’s a triumph,Sue! Great sewing! It must have been very tricky to sew with all those strips. I like the two different colour handles 😀

I’m sure the other three recipients will be just as tickled with their bags as Offcuts is! 😀

What a lovely bag and such a good way to use some of the oddments.

Sorry, I meant to say it was a skirt with the strips already sewn together. Still tricky to sew though! 🙂

Sorry I misunderstood, but as you said Offcuts, still tricky to sew.

Great bagging skills – quite an autumnal morsbag! I think I know one of the reasons you love it Offcuts – it has shades of rust in it!

True! Sue made them using the walking foot that Brother kindly gave us for tricky fabrics. It’s a good little gadget. 🙂
