We had a little do in St Day on Sunday. Took 180 bags, made 9 and gave them all out.

Beattie was doing one of her choirs while I was left in charge of the stall. It was rather windy and I spent a lot of time chasing escaping bags. It is astonishing what the wind does to the threading on hand cranks which reduced output too.
Discovered a bit too late I was on the bombing run for the local seagull, unpleasant, but damage was not too bad!
Supper with the choir after, better food than you would expect too.

Talking of gifts from above, my son’s girlfriend in Vietnam has just reported her office is being deluged by kittens from above. Three so far and counting. Apparently is is quite a normal thing there.

And we’ve just heard that the security guy has put the kittens back on the roof with the rest of the litter and the parents. Hooray! 🙂

As M/C says we had a nice day out on Sunday & I’m hoping to run a day’s workshop/ make and take session/ maybe get a pod off the ground as a result.
He had time to take a photo – I’ll see if we can put it on flikr later.

Brilliant! Beattie do you remember Sazzie had wind problems on the plinth at Trafalgar square? (What!!)

I remembered Sazzie vividly, Offcuts! I don’t think it was quite as bad as Sazzie faced, though we had a lot of problems keeping the bags to be given away from blowing across the square.

The event was 1940’s themed – hence the scarves and rollers for some.

    Frank WAS there
