Offcuts member Freda Smart, by name and by nature, listens to the radio whilst using her sewing machine. Nothing new in that except she uses headphones! I think that is a great idea bordering on genius…..:-)

Brilliant idea! I like to listen to the radio while I sew but have to have the volume up rather too loud to hear it over the noise of the sewing machine. Headphones are just the answer!! Wish I’d thought of that before….. Thanks Freda and Offcuts!

I know what you mean about the “in the ear” ones – I think I must have very small ears as they are always too big, and painful to get into my ear canals. Haven’t tried headphones with the radio, but I use them all the time when listening to things on my laptop.
