Interesting comments
Stow-Cafod+ “We are a LiveSimply Parish that has agreed to give up using plastic bags. Our Cafod+ group is already pushing the sustainable life and this seems a very good addition to what we are already trying to do. Have recruited 2 makers already and hope for many more.”
Greenpeace against plastic bag in Konstanz, Germany writes “Im Rahmen des Ökomarkts Engen entstanden einige Morsbags, die wir an unserem Stand passend zum Thema: plastikfreies Leben verschenkt haben”
Google translate gives this “Within the framework of the eco market Engen a few morsbags were created, which we gave away at our booth to the theme: plastic-free life”Dub Pod became Dublin’s Fair City Pod – I love the new name! Reminds me of singing with my mum, decades ago.
One Pod writes “We are a socially active church engaging with food poverty, homeless and environmental issues. Just taken over a farm which supplies our farmers market & our social activities. Found Morsbags at Great British Sewing Bee where I was exhibiting my quilts & fabric origami. Want to give out bags at our farmers market, at our barista training project and at other places. Three of us are getting going on 28th October while the market is on.”
I love these positive messages. 😀
Well done everyone, keep on sewing! The whales, turtles and other sea life would thank you.
