Here is a quick tutorial on how to make a morsbag from an old shirt….

Lay your shirt out flat and place your template on top..

Cut around your template, this will will give you a morsbag front piece and a back piece

To make your handles lay your handle template on top of a shirt sleeve and cut around

This will give you two handles which you sew as normal

Next use your zipper foot attachment to sew down both sides of the button bands on the front piece of your bag to avoid any shopping escaping…..

Sew as normal…. And ta – da… You have a completed morsbag made from an old shirt 🙂

Just learned about Morsbags, I am so excited; to finally have something to do with fabric I’ve carried around for at least a decade and my recently passed away father in law’s shirts. What a wonderful idea

Welcome Wayupnorth2021! You’re right, it is a wonderful idea. I love taking something we don’t need any more and making it useful again – and then, the best bit – you give it away to someone for free! (Or use it over and over again yourself of course)

Don’t forget to add a morsbags.com label to each bag and add them to your tally, we love to see that number of bags made worldwide rise. 😀

If you need labels, just order on the site, and they will go out on the next run. By the way – I cant find your pod !!

Took some looking, but I found it. Artsy Bags in Soldotna, Alaska. Just ordered my second set of labels, 22 bags completed.
I love them so much; its been hard to give them away; but I gave 8 away between yesterday and today.
