Do you remember when we use to have international Morsbagging Sundays?
We should have another one. It was great to think of everyone at home all over the world making morsbags.I’d be happy to join in if possible if we revive them. I agree it was encouraging to think of people sewing morsbags on the same day and posting along during the day. When do you want to pick, Butterfly?
I don’t mind when. Does anyone else have a preference?
I think it should be a weekend rather than just a Sunday.Appointing a weekend gives more flexibility Butterfly. I’m happy with that, though the thought of people all over the world sewing at the same time did have its attraction.
Sounds lovely. Sunday or a week end it makes no difference to us. Looking forward to hearing the date.
What about the weekend of 13th and 14th February? Or is that too soon?
Tie it in with Valentine’s Day, spreading the love with morsbags!
(We’ve also got an event in Leicester on the Saturday so will be a good thing to talk about with visitors)
Alternatively we could do it the last weekend of February and make it a 3 day long event because what could be a better thing to do with the extra day of the year than make morsbags!!I like the idea of making bags the last week end in February. As you said Butterfly, ‘What could be a better thing to do with the extra day.’
Those weekends are equally good for us, so far as we know (second grandchild due sometime soonish….)
