July – how did we do?

I’m always amazed how morsproduction keeps up during the summer months. When I think of all those children not in school and needing entertainment, those gardens to be enjoyed, those holidays to be taken, I’m gob-smacked that any bags are made at all in high summer! Of course, we also have active pods in New Zealand and Australia – I hope you’re keeping snug indoors!:D

This July 2894 new morsbags were made by 41 pods worldwide.

“Die Idee Morsbags zu naehen entstand in Kooperation mit “Tettnang regional und fair”. Im Unterricht und auch in der Freizeit haben Schueler und Lehrer begonnen zu naehen. Unser Motto: Die ganze Welt naeht Morsbags und wir naehen mit! Danke fuer diese tolle Idee!”
whch translates as
“The idea of Morsbags was created in cooperation with “Tettnang regional and fair”. In the classroom as well as during leisure time, students and teachers began to sew. Our motto: The whole world is approaching Morsbags and we join in! Thanks for this great idea!”

(Tettnang is a town in Bodensee District, Southern Germany.)
