There is a challenge on Facebook/twitter at the moment called #100dayshappy. The idea is you post a photo of something that has made you happy every day for 100 days. Inspired by that idea, I’ve set myself the challenge to make at least 1 morsbag everyday for 100 days.
I sometimes go for days (dare I say, even weeks) without making any and then make lots in 1 go, so for me, this will be a challenge.
    I will keep you posted.
    Xx

Go for it Tori! I’m sure you’ll be able to find 15 minutes or so every day 😀

Well done Tori and Sazzie. I am a bit worried as to whether you should be undertaking challenges right now Sazzie, but I give you permission to have a go so long as you promise not to over-do it!

I promise, it’s just a question of posting one picture a day of something that made you happy that day.

Great idea! Does it have to be something different each day?

    Bag 1 done.

Rosie, its called 100happydays,(cant find the hash tag on my proper keyboard!) I got it the wrong way round on my first post. You can register on a site and fb page and the photos can be of anything that made you happy that day.

On track so far thanks Beattie. I have made one each day (and 2 on a couple of days.) I’m also trying to make each one out of a different fabric but I’m not sure that will be possible!

When I popped into morsroom today some fabric had been donated by a lady who had had a morsbag through her letterbox. I am going to start again when spring comes!

    Well done Butterfly! 🙂

Is flikr the only way you can get photos on here? I was going to post a photo of my first 10 bags. I’ve posted it on facebook and wanted to share it on here too.

I see you managed it Butterfly. To answer your question, flickr isn’t the only website you can use to “host” your photos. I’ve heard of picasa as another one, and I’m sure there are others.

Hi Butterfly, Flickr is the one that we mainly support because we also have a morsbags group with many members on it. You should be able to use any site where you can store photographs as Beattie mentions like Picassa, Photobucket, as long as you can paste a link directly to the actual image url (e.g. the link should end in .png .jpg .jpeg .gif etc and is not the page that has the image on and a lot of other stuff around it) then all you do is highlight the URL you pasted and click ‘img’ above where you are typing into and it should work.
This forum supports Flickr a little better and all you have to do is paste the link to the photo page and it should do all the clever stuff to get the direct photo link (no need for highlighting and img tags etc)
