I just wanted to let everyone know that our Sazzie is quite unwell. Since Christmas she and her 3 year old daughter have had a succession of viruses, conjunctivitis and in the case of Evie a very bad cough. Sazzie is in her second week of being bed bound. Luckily Mr Sazzie has half term this week and her parents live nearby to help. I’m sure you will join me in wishing Sazzie lots of get well soon wishes.
February 20, 2014 at 6:23 pm #2038I have just heard that Sazzie is in hospital with pneumonia. Lots of get well wishes from us 🙁

February 22, 2014 at 9:16 am #2048So pleased she is home again – they have had an awful couple of months.
The sun is out now – lets hope for a speedy recovery Hugs all roundFebruary 22, 2014 at 9:02 pm #2051We have heard today that Sazzie has had to go back in to hospital because she was gasping for breath this morning. She is on an anti-biotic drip and oxygen. This time she will be staying in for 5 days. She has been seen by specialists and is having more blood tests and X-rays. Initially they thought she had a blood clot on her lungs but luckily that wasn’t the case. David is back to work on monday and Sazzie’s mum is looking after Miss Evie. Get Well soon Sazzie xx
February 22, 2014 at 11:39 pm #2052Oh Sazzie, we’re so sorry to hear you’re back in hospital again. Hoping you’re sewing fit and back home soon. Love Beattie and Frank
February 24, 2014 at 5:19 am #2054Oh Sazzie! How awful. I do hope you are properly better soon. Xxx
February 25, 2014 at 5:35 pm #2072Thank you everyone for your get well wishes. I am now back home after being discharged this afternoon. I have been given two lots of antibiotics, and have to go back at the beginning of April for a chest X-ray. I have been told it could take up to two months until I feel back to ‘normal’ and in the meantime I’ve got to take things very easy.
I’m still short of breath and resemble a pin cushion, but it’s very nice to be home again…. And the Sewing Bee is on tonight so double bonus!February 27, 2014 at 9:14 am #2075It’s good to hear you’re out of hospital again Sazzie – try and stay out this time! 😉 😀
Take the advice – no buzzing around like a whirlwind for a bit for you….
We hope you’re feeling better soon and back to normal as quickly as possible.
XXXFebruary 28, 2014 at 9:13 am #2077Thank you Beattie, I’m getting plenty of rest thanks to Mr Sazzie who has been amazing and my parents.
I couldn’t buzz around even if I wanted to as I get out of breath just. Walking up / down the stairs. I’m beginning to realise that the drs weren’t exaggerating when they said two months recovery :-/February 28, 2014 at 1:45 pm #2079 -
