Suoer duper cute and such a gorgeous colour.
July 14, 2014 at 1:23 pm #2739Did you find Mr Bo Jangles thriving when you visited Offcuts?
July 14, 2014 at 9:35 pm #2740Yes Beattie he is gorgeous. Edward and Naomi came with us to see all the cats in situ and then we went out for a meal to celebrate Edward’s exam results.
As well as Mr Bo Jangles we are definitely having a five year old retired girl. We have decided to call her Lili. Here she is
She is very friendly and affectionate.
And we were hoping for a multi coloured girl shorthair to make up the set and last night after we got home I had a message to say she had been born! If you look at the photo she is second on the right. Tula the mum had 6 all good weights. I think we will call this one Peggie after my mum who was Margaret but Peggie to her family. Below is a recent photo of Mr Bo Jangles, 10 weeks old today.
July 14, 2014 at 9:38 pm #2741July 15, 2014 at 8:48 am #2742He’s sooo cute!! When does Lili become yours? Maybe you can pick her up and take her home when you collect Bo Jangles.
I can’t work out which is the second from the right in the new kitties photo – can’t tell kittens from Mum’s legs!! 😀 What colour are we looking for? Is she the tortoiseshell one, if there are 3 kittens between Mum’s front legs?
July 15, 2014 at 6:02 pm #2744Thank you Beattie, yes Lili is coming home with Bo Jangles. At the moment they are together in the house so they can get acquainted!
Peggie Sue is the tortoiseshell kitten. There are 3 between mum’s front legs and she is the middle one of the other 3!
July 16, 2014 at 8:08 pm #2754How gorgeous they are. I love the name Bo Jangles and he wears it with great dignity. The new little kitten looks delightful. Lily looks like she knows what is what! I think she will be able to keep the youngsters in order. What a wonderful time you are going to have with these beauties. I hope they do not interfere too much with the morsbagging activities. They will certainly be a huge advertising pull if you get their pictures in, over, and around a few bags. I think (thought not sure) they could be a greater pull than HRH!
July 16, 2014 at 9:40 pm #2759Thank you Krisaby. Yes its going to fun and games! Blue Moon is hilarious, he plays with anything he can get his paws on despite have lots of cat toys!
July 22, 2014 at 11:10 pm #2808I bet you’re looking forward to next weekend!! I’m waiting for more photos 😀
July 23, 2014 at 3:19 am #2812Yes we can’t wait Beattie! Mark and Kim are bringing Lili an Bo Jangles to help us introduce them to Blue Moon. Below is a photo of what I found earlier. Now Blue only has 2 of these orangey balls and we have no doubt that he would have set himself a challenge to get them both in this sculpture and left them for us to see! ! I have had lots of cats during my 56 years but never had one that sets himself tasks!
Here is kitten 3, 1 week old who we have called Kimcatz Pretty Peggie Sue to keep with the song theme! Also my mum was Peggy! We shall have her in the first week of october if all goes well.
July 23, 2014 at 9:19 am #2813Blue Moon is obviously extraordinarily intelligent. He’ll need projects, but being a cat, they’ll be HIS projects. 😉
My daughter’s cat’s project seems to be to rid the world of small mammals and birds, I hope Blue will have better ones.July 26, 2014 at 7:59 pm #2826I love this thread. Looking forward to some exciting pictures of The Meeting of The Kittens – and Cat!
August 3, 2014 at 3:11 am #2869Here is Bo Jangles who now lives with us. Unfortunately it didn’t work out to have the older girl cat because of health problems, but we are delighted with BJ. Blue Moon still has to realise what a good idea a playmate is but we don’t think that will take too long.
Lap cat!
Their first meal together!
August 3, 2014 at 5:47 am #2871Gorgeous. Hours of fun and fights ahead. Shame about the older cat but these two will keep you busy for a bit! I suppose they have to decide who is Top Cat before they settle down as friends? I will watch this space with great pleasure. Thanks Rosie.
August 3, 2014 at 2:32 pm #2878Oh, how sweet! Bo Jangles seems to have made himself at home already! I’m sorry it didn’t work out with the older cat too – sorry she’s not a well kitty, but I’m sure these two will settle in OK. I’m amazed at how similar they are in size in the “dinner time” photo, as Bo Jangles is much younger than Blue Moon.
I’m sure they’ll get used to each other soon. Wonder how they’ll react when Peggy Sue turns up. -
