Last Thursday at our regular get together at Brocks Hill Visitor Centre, a lovely lady Mandeep came to see us. She is a printmaker and runs printing workshops. The idea was twofold. She brought along a piece of fabric that she had decorated with woodblocks to make into a morsbag, and we had a go at printing on a ready ready made morsbag. We are planning to join together at some of our sunday workshops. Here are some pics
Offcuts, I’ve tried to look at the photo you posted a link for, but get an error message “404 Page not found”. Have you pasted in the whole of the link?
I’ve tried to find it on flickr.com but not managed to find it.
We decorate plain bags with rubber stamps. We use a paint brush to apply standard acrylic paint to the stamp, then put it onto the bag. Let it dry then iron to set it using a dry iron. Works a treat and it will wash.
