How did we manage to make 3531 bags worldwide last month? It seems such a huge number, made by 50 pods, all composed of people sewing bags in their spare time. I wondered if Pol’s appeal for bags to be given away at the Great British Sewing Bee Live show had spurred anyone else to extra efforts? I know we increased production last month because of it.

The bag-makers in August were –

    Notnew Bags
    Cuckoobird
    Die Nähdamen
    Bude Baggers
    Monty Morsbags

Wow. That is a great total. I thought it might be a quiet morsbag making month with it being holiday time!
I’ve pledge 30 for the Sewing Bee Live and have just got a couple more to make to hit my target.

You’re right Tori. Usually in August I’m trying to account for the drop in production. Maybe the rubbish weather helped?

The GBSB effect definitely improved my output – 30 bags pledged plus a few more I’ve made for friends and customers. I am only 8 bags away from a round total of 700 now! Keep up the good work everybody – looking forward to meeting up with the morsbags crew at GBSB in a couple of weeks xx

    What a fantastic total! 🙂
I know that GBSB helped me make bags in August and the fact that we had a stay at home holiday this year. I could have made more, but am making up kits for GBSB just now.

Thank you for telling us the total again Beatie. Looking down the list of pods I thought I would never come to the end. A wonderful total for August.
