Massive thanks to Avantek Computer for their very generous sponsorship of printing costs of 10,000 information leaflets. Since the Leics project has grown and the bags go to so many places such as small shops, food banks, schools etc and we can’t be there to give every bag away ourselves, I decided that we needed a more comprehensive information sheet in all our bags. It is our hope that people will hang on to them for when they have curtains to donate, retire and have time to make bags with us etc. So here they are in my hall, they should last us a year (offcuts2 make about 800 morsbags per month). Big thank you to Tony Lees from Avantek Computer. For those morsbaggers who saw me shake hands with a man at the Big Textile Show, that was him!

Well done Offcuts! Another good bit of persuasive talking must have gone on there. Did they throw in the cat? Or is that your very own ball of fluff that has taken possession of the boxes?

I think he has taken possession. He is feeling King of Leaflets. Will he have an empty box to get in when you have one? My neighbour’s cats love an empty box or bag to investigate. I once picked up my bag of garden waste and found it a bit heavy. When I put it down a little cat popped out! Freddie, however, appears to be a very noble cat of unusual dignity.

Krisaby’s correct, Freddie IS “a very noble cat of unusual dignity” 😀
I like the way you’ve “dressed” the scene with a pair of striking odd crocs! 😀 Very “Offcuts”!

Congratulations to “Team Leicester” (the conglomeration of pods throughout the county) and to Avantek Computers on a deal that I hope will benefit both sides.
