66 pods together made 2815 morsbags during August, an amazing total considering how busy people are in the school summer holidays, and that most pods are in the northern hemisphere so could be outdoors doing other things. So well done everyone, we’re making a difference, bag by bag given away.

A Stitch in TimeWelcome to you all, and double congratulations to the pods that appear in BOTH lists! New pods that get started are particularly treasured 🙂
Interesting comments
How fabulous is this from FlowerFollies?
“Obsessive quilter using “you sew, don’t you?” donations from well-meaning folk, for extreme Stash-busting”According to Google Translate, “Susi’s Unikate” means “Susi’s Unique Items” = lovely! (Susi is in Germany)
We now have a pod in the Solomon Islands! Sol Bags writes –
“Trying to rid the Solomons of single use plastics, especially plastic bags”Welcome to all the newbies, it’s great to have you with us, and welcome back again to the individuals and groups that feature again in the list of active pods. Welcome back, and see you again next month, I hope.
Apologies to Daryl Cattaneo and Pickering Stitchers for accidentally leaving you off the list for August. Now amended..
September 9, 2018 at 11:37 am #9741Hello Beatie
My pod made 41 bags in August, but we seem to have been missed from the list, I added them on the 10th August if that helps you find us.30 of them went to Pickering food bank who were delighted with them.

Pickering StitchersSeptember 9, 2018 at 4:04 pm #9743Hello Daryl! Many apologies to you! If it’s any consolation my errors usually consist of listing a pod twice. It’s quite difficult to check as the lists get longer and longer and I have to scroll up and down to check if I’ve listed this one, or that one. I’ll add you in a moment, and you get an extra mention here too!
I see you’ve just added another grand haul of morsbags today as well, I’ll do my best not to leave you off the roll of honour for September.
And if anyone else spots a mistake in the lists, please do let me know! They’re not easy to compile and errors are not uncommon. *blush*
September 10, 2018 at 11:35 am #9759Thank you for adding us Beattie, I imagine it is quite a task, but you are doing a great job and 10 days into September and already over 500 bags.
September 10, 2018 at 3:04 pm #9780Thank you Daryl
