Here is one of our Leicestershire morsbag heroines. This lady has made well over 600 morsbags. She makes them at home and her husband takes them to the hospital where he works and they get distributed to the volunteers. They are now on their second hospital. The lovely pieced morsbag is for her yet to be born grandchild ‘bump’ I’m sure he will like it. This morsbagger is our ‘piecing’ expert and we save all our lovely smaller pieces for her to put together.Nothing is too much trouble for her. 🙂
That’s a lovely bag to give to a new grandchild 😀 Well done Mrs Morsbags Heroine, and Mr Morsbags Hero too!! It takes all kinds of skills, interests and personalities to get those bags made and out there, into the wild.
Masterclock is OUR piecing expert, and we know it takes a lot of extra time to make bags out of the little bits, but it’s great not having to throw perfectly good material away, just because it’s small pieces. 😀
Cheers for this couple! I haven’t tried piecing a bag yet (read this as: I have a bag of pieces that are waiting for me and I’m trying to ignore it) but in time…
