Hello all, long time no speak.

Just wanted to share my news – Whetstone Whales pod (i.e. me!) just hit the big 600! I have made my latest batch of 20 bags, lots of vintage fabrics used again.

I am going to have a little break from morsbagging for a while due to other commitments so wanted to pause on a nice round number! Thanks to all the lovely people who have donated so much fabric to me over the last four years or so. It’s great to think all those bags are out there in the wild being used…..

PS: I have a Flickr pic but have forgotten how to share it…. HELP PLEASE!!

Congratulations Sarah! I’m so pleased you posted on the forum about your success! 😀 I had a little look on Flickr but couldn’t see your photo, but I’m having connection speed problems, so can’t seem to sort for the most recent photos tonight.

We’ll miss you, but we know that sometimes life intervenes….
600 bags is a lovely round number! 😀 Lots of love, Beattie

Sarah, I think I found it, but can’t post the photo here. Is it set to “public” so that anyone can see it?

    Yay!! Got it!!
I right-clicked on the photo, selected “copy link address” and pasted it here, and bingo!!

Lovely vintage fabrics and beautifully made bags 😀 I’m sure the new owners will love them. I like the ducks in the daffs

Even though I knew Sarah was having a morsbag break I can’t stop saving vintage fabric for her! And we’re on Facebook so will know what we are all up to! I love how different people make different contributions. Sarah had great contacts with our local radio which enabled us to spread the word of our campaign.

Congratulations Sarah. Maybe we will see you again if your timetable has another change! Lovely bags – thanks Beattie for getting them up for us.

Ah Sooty and Sweep. Takes me back a bit.

Personally I rather like the ducks!

Thanks all! And thanks Beattie for uploading the pic – shows how long it is since I uploaded anything to Flickr….

The Sooty fabric is an old curtain that offcuts/Rosie saved for me – it’s my favourite. Glad you like the ducks in daffs (!), that is a bit of old Laura Ashley fabric. And can you spot the Royal bag in the middle?

My dad says I am Whetstone’s top bag lady….. Cheek!

A gorgeous selection of bags. Even though you have decided to take a break I’m a strong believer in the motto “once a morsbagger, always a morsbagger”.
Hope to still see you at Sew Sociable.

Congratulations on your 600 bags. That is a lot of bags when it is just you. Hope you enjoy your rest.
